Keeping Orbit and an applicant tracking system in step: roles flowing in, applications flowing out.
What is planned
- Roles from your ATS appear in Orbit as drafts for a recruiter to publish, so nothing goes live, or spends credits, without a person deciding it.
- Applications back to your ATS, with the consent the hosted apply page captured travelling with them.
- One connection surface. The state of the connection, and what failed if it failed, is visible in Settings rather than inferred from missing data.
In the meantime
You do not have to wait for a connector to move roles in. The write API does the same work with your own code on the other end: create each role as a draft, publish it when you mean to, and close it when it closes upstream. See Post a job from your own system.
What a connector will add on top is the second half — applications flowing back to your ATS — and not having to write the sync yourself.
